Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives the forms you submit.
  • Google Workspace provides our email.
  • Google Fonts supplies a typeface used on some devices. Your browser connects to Google to load it, which shares your IP address with Google.
  • jsDelivr delivers the animation code (GSAP and Lenis) the site uses. Your browser connects to it to download those files, which shares your IP address with jsDelivr.
  • Google Analytics measures how the website is used, only if you accept analytics cookies.

We may also share data with professional advisers such as our accountants, or where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by an appropriate safeguard, such as the UK–US data bridge for certified organisations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and case study downloads: up to 24 months from our last contact, unless you become a client.
  • Client records: for the length of our contract and 6 years afterwards, for legal and accounting purposes.
  • Marketing opt-outs: we keep a minimal record so we can respect your choice.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct or complete it
  • ask us to delete it
  • object to or restrict how we use it, including objecting to marketing at any time
  • receive a copy in a portable format
  • withdraw consent, where we rely on it

To use any of these rights, email info@hikeagency.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
